CHPDP Faculty Research Included in Latest Cosmopolitan

Dr Kelly Cue Davis, an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation and member of the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, was quoted in an article in the September issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. Dr. Davis’ work on men’s condom use resistance, including the act of stealthing (nonconsensual condom removal or non-usage), was featured in The Silent Sexual Assault.” The topic of stealthing has gained recent attention in the media and legislation as “sexual violence” to the nonconsenting party. Dr. Davis’ research program examines how alcohol-related factors influence sexual health issues, including sexual violence. Congratulations to Dr. Davis for bringing academic and mainstream attention with this important work!
