Welcome

Welcome to the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (CHPDP). As a transdisciplinary team of faculty, students, and staff, we conduct translational research, training, and outreach activities in close partnership with communities with the goal of improving health and preventing disease in vulnerable populations across the lifespan.

The CHPDP is housed in ASU’s Edson College of Nursing & Health Innovation on the Downtown Phoenix Campus. Established in 2015, the center is guided by many of the design aspirations of the New American University including the fusion of intellectual disciplines in order to conduct use-inspired research that is embedded within communities through mutually beneficial collaborations.
